happy new year everyone! :D yayy ok haha it's now 2009! hehe i know i was very emo yesterday hee but today i am in a more optimistic mood yayy! (: haha lol i realise i'm always like this haha every year i experience the same mood changes hee! like i'm always very very happy during dec, then it escalates to a sense of joy on christmas eve, and then my mood starts dipping from christmas day onwards cos of the christmas-is-ending sort of blues, then i'll still be having post-xmas hangover for the week leading up to new year's day, then new year's eve will be a super emo day for me, and then on new year's day itself i'll be my usual optimistic self again! haha i wonder why omg! :D
haha anyway so okay, i have started to see 2009 from a more optimistic perspective! :D hee for one, i realised that there is really no such thing as freezing time, and so since 2009 has arrived, i shall make full use of it, and make it a meaningful year that i will look back upon fondly ((: carpe diem! (:
and yes i know this year will be a tough year, but as they say,
when life gives you lemons, make lemonade! :D so yes haha, i'll get ready my juicing machine, just bring on all the lemons! :p and maybe by the end of the year, i'll have plenty of lemonade to drink haha :D jiayou me! (:
haha ok shall blog about today (: went out with my mom in the afternoon and met auntie shanti at canele! ((: haha we ordered so much food omg! cakes, meringues and cookies :D i think their standard has dropped though ): the food didn't taste as good as they did last time! but ah wells it's the company that matters! (: haha auntie shanti really rocks man haha she's so funny and quickwitted and nice to talk to ((: so yepp we sat there and talked for like 3 hours straight hehe (: and auntie shanti gave me my xmas present today! :D haha an exercise mat and an exercise outfit haha omg yayy thx auntie shanti! ((: i shall totally make good use of it and become a fitter person haha :D time to get rid of all the flabs! :D
oooh and i took some nice pics with the xmas decor at orchard road as a backdrop haha (: okays the decor isn't as nice as in previous years, but it still looks cool anyway (:
